Abstract
(EN) Graph theory to define busline arrangements as a series of vertices (62) and edges (82). wherein the vertices include the number of busses (62) in the system and the edges include disconnect circuit branches connecting the individual vertices (82). The system operaor chooses a configuration, which determines the status of the various disconnect branches. A processor establishes an incident graph matrix, including positions of all the vertices and edges. The matrix is modified in accordance with graph theory and the condition of the disconnect switches. Graph operations are performed to produce a resulting matrix, which defines vertices and the edges incident thereon into zones of protections. Fault analysis in the busline can then be performed in accordance with each zone of protection.
(FR) Le système de l'invention met en oeuvre la théorie des graphes pour définir des arrangements de barres omnibus en tant que série de sommets et d'arêtes. Le sommets incluent le nombre de bus existants dans le système et les arêtes incluent des dérivations de sectionnement reliant inviduellement les sommets. Une configuration particulière de système, choisie par l'opérateur du système, détermine l'état (ouvert ou fermé) des diverses dérivations de sectionnement. Un processeur établit une matrice de graphe incidente comportant les positions de tous les sommets et arêtes. La matrice est modifiée conformément à la théorie des graphes et à l'état des sectionneurs. Des traitements des graphes sont effectués afin de produire une matrice résultante qui définisse les sommets et les arêtes incidents sur les matrices en zones de protection. L'analyse des défaillances dans la barre omnibus peut ensuite être effectuée conformément à chaque zone de protection.
