Abstract
(EN) The invention concerns a flux-cored wire for introducing additives into a molten metal bath comprising a metal sheath (5) containing an additive (6), which metal sheath is covered with an envelope (7) which, being combustible but without unwanted residues, momentarily delays heat propagation towards the flux-cored wire core. Said flux-cored wire is characterised in that above said combustible envelope, a metallic protection encloses the assembly formed by the additive, the metal sheath and the combustible envelope.
(FR) L'invention se rapporte à un fil fourré pour l'introduction d'additifs dans un bain de métal en fusion comprenant une gaine (5) métallique contenant un additif (6) laquelle gaine métallique est recouverte par une enveloppe (7) qui, combustible sans laisser de résidus gênants, retarde momentanément la propagation de la chaleur vers le coeur du fil fourré ce fil fourré étant caractérisé en ce que qu'au dessus de cette enveloppe combustible, une protection métallique enserre l'ensemble constituée par l'additif, la gaine métallique et l'enveloppe combustible.
