Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a method for welding together two layers (1, 3), or work-pieces, within a multi-layer assembly (1, 2, 3). The present invention provides a method in which laser light (4) is directed through an outer layer (1) of the assembly, allowing transmission of the laser light from its outer surface to at least within the vicinity of its inner surface substantially without any absorption of energy from the laser light, towards a layer (3) comprising an absorbent component (7), corresponding to a portion thereof, capable of absorbing laser light within a given wavelength range thereby creating a welded area (6) between a surface of the layer (3) comprising the absorbent component (7) and a surface of a layer (1) facing the layer (3) comprising the absorbent component (7). The absorbent component (7) can be provided either within the bulk of a layer or it can be provided as a separate surface-layer on one or both surfaces of a layer. The invention also provides specific products manufactured using the concept of the present invention.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de souder deux couches (1, 3) ou pièces dans un ensemble multicouche (1, 2, 3). L'invention concerne également un procédé dans lequel une lumière laser (4) est dirigée, à travers une couche extérieure (1) de l'ensemble permettant la transmission de la lumière laser de la surface extérieure de cette couche au moins à proximité de la couche intérieure de cette même couche sans absorption sensible de l'énergie provenant de la lumière, vers une couche (3) qui comprend un composant absorbant (7) correspondant à une plage de longueurs d'onde données, ce qui crée une zone soudée (6) située entre la surface de la couche (3) comprenant le composant absorbant (7) et la surface de la couche (1) opposée à ladite couche (3) comprenant le composant absorbant (7). Ce composant (7) peut être fourni dans le matériau en vrac d'une couche, ou sous forme d'une couche à surfaces distinctes déposée sur une ou les deux surfaces d'une couche. L'invention concerne enfin des produits spécifiques fabriqués au moyen du concept de l'invention.
