(EN)Ticket validation method includes ticket image control (TIC) data center, seller and purchaser. Purchaser communicates personal data to TIC, including computer or printer settings; TIC saves on purchaser database. TIC uses purchaser printer information against stored values to verify that purchaser's printer can physically print downloadable ticket. Purchaser enters payment information, seller verifies. Purchaser downloads printable ticket from TIC. Printed ticket includes unique number (19) that identifies purchaser and may include purchaser computer information, number (64) that identifies settings on purchaser's printer, bar code (63) that identifies purchaser printer settings, and bar code (20) that contains information concerning event and location. Printed ticket includes graphic field also called a tell (21). Tickets are validated by ticket agent on a venue ticket reader. Human ticket agent verifies visually that tell (21) does not appear to be counterfeit. Other ticket information validated against TIC databases.
(FR)La présente invention produit un numéro unique qui identifie l'acheteur du billet à partir des informations obtenues concernant le fabriquant de ce billet et le système informatique de ce fabriquant pendant l'achat de ce billet. Ce système produit un numéro unique additionnel qui peut prendre la forme d'un code barre imprimé sur ce billet pendant la production de ce dernier.
