Abstract:
(EN) The invention provides a method for recovery of sucrose from molasses comprising combining molasses with a methanolic solution whereby there is formed a single liquid phase which retains carbohydrates from said molasses in solution, the solution being super saturated with respect to sucrose, separating non-carbohydrate matter which precipitates, inducing sucrose crystallization by seeding the super-saturated solution with sucrose; and recovering formed sucrose crystals.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de récupérer du saccharose à partir de mélasses. Ce procédé consiste à combiner des mélasses avec une solution méthanolique; formant ainsi une seule phase liquide qui retient les hydrates de carbone provenant desdites mélasses en solution; la solution étant sursaturée par rapport au saccharose; à séparer la substance ne consistant pas en de l'hydrate de carbone et qui se précipite; à déclencher la cristallisation du saccharose par ensemencement de la solution sursaturée à l'aide du saccharose; puis à récupérer les cristaux de saccharose ainsi formés.
