(EN)A method is disclosed for identifying compound defined by pharmacophores which compound affect protein-protein interactions. The method involves determining functional residues of at least one protein of a protein-protein interaction of interest. Three-dimensional structures are then developed based on the positions of the functional residues. The three-dimensional structures are then compared against compounds which have calculatable tertiary structures in order to identify compounds having a spatial orientation consistent with functionally relevant portions of a protein of the protein-protein interaction of interest.
(FR)L'invention porte sur un procédé d'identification d'un composé défini par des pharmacophores, ce composé affectant des interactions protéines-protéines. Le procédé consiste à déterminer des résidus fonctionnels d'au moins une protéine d'une interaction de protéines. Des structures tridimensionnelles sont développées à partir des positions des résidus fonctionnels et sont ensuite comparées aux composés qui comportent des structures tertiaires calculables afin d'identifier des composés ayant une orientation spatiale correspondant aux parties appropriées fonctionnelles d'une protéine induite dans l'interaction protéine-protéine.
