(EN)The methods of the invention provide a means for targeting the insertion of a nucleotide sequence of interest to a specific chromosomal site within the genome of a plant cell. The invention provides a unique application of wide hybridization and site-specific recombination to bring together and recombine well defined chromosomal fragments. The invention provides novel methods to generate transgenic plant lines and new hybrid plant varieties.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un procédé de ciblage pour l'insertion d'une séquence nucléotidique considérée en un site chromosomique désigné dans le génome d'une cellule végétale. L'invention permet le recours à l'hybridation large et à la recombinaison à spécificité de site pour réunir et recombiner des fragments chromosomiques bien définis. L'invention concerne enfin des procédés permettant la génération de lignées végétales transgéniques et de nouvelles variétés végétales hybrides.
