(EN)Reovirus can be used to selectively remove ras-mediated neoplastic cells from a cellular composition. It is of particular interest to purge autographs which may contain neoplastic cells with reovirus before transplanting the autografts back into the recipient, thereby reducing the risk of introducing or reintroducing neoplastic cells into the recipient.
(FR)La présente invention concerne l'utilisation de réovirus pour éliminer sélectivement d'une composition cellulaire des cellules néoplasiques à médiation des ras. Il est particulièrement intéressant de faire disparaître des autographes susceptibles de contenir des cellules néoplasiques et d'utiliser pour cela des réovirus, avant de réimplanter les auto-greffons chez le receveur. Cela permet de réduire le risque d'introduction ou de réintroduction de cellules néoplasiques chez le receveur.
