An interference canceller is described, wherein the interference canceller includes an input receiving an input composite signal, a reference circuit, and a cancellation circuit. The interference canceller derives its own reference signal. Internal derivation of the reference signal is accomplished by suppressing the desired signal included within a sampled quantum of a composite signal. The resultant reference signal is a likeness of the interference signal; containing substantially only the interference signal. The internally produced reference signal is amplitude and phase adjusted in a time-continuous fashion and summed with the composite signal in the cancellation circuit. The output of the cancellation circuit contains the desired signal and a substantially suppressed interference signal.

L'invention concerne un éliminateur d'interférences comprenant une entrée de réception d'un signal composite d'entrée, un circuit de référence et un circuit d'annulation. L'éliminateur d'interférences dérive son propre signal de référence. La dérivation interne du signal de référence s'effectue par suppression du signal désiré inclus dans un niveau de quantification échantillonné d'un signal composite. Le signal de référence obtenu ressemble au signal d'interférence, ne contenant sensiblement que le signal d'interférence. L'amplitude et la phase du signal de référence obtenu de façon interne sont ajustés de manière continue dans le temps, puis celui-ci est ajouté au signal composite dans le circuit d'annulation. La sortie du circuit d'annulation contient le signal désiré et un signal d'interférence sensiblement supprimé.
