Abstract
(DE) Die vorliegende Modulationsschaltung für einen Transponder weist nichtlineare Bauelemente auf, welche zwischen einem Schalt-Transistor (M5) und Spulenanschlüssen (LA, LB) angeordnet sind. Die sich daraus ergebende nichtlineare Modulationskennlinie hat eine höhere Reichweite zur Folge. Zur Einsparung von Chipfläche können als nichtlineare Bauelemente die an die Spule (L) angeschlossenen Dioden (M4, M3) eines Spannungs-Parallelreglers verwendet werden. Um unerwünschte, gegenseitige Beeinflussungen zwischen Spannungsregler und Modulationsschaltung zu unterbinden, ist eine gegenseitige Verriegelung derselben vorgesehen.
(EN) The invention relates to a modulation circuit for a transponder. Said modulation circuit has non-linear components which are located between a switching transistor (M5) and coil terminals (LA, LB). Consequently, the resulting non-linear modulation curve has a greater range. In order to save chip space, the diodes (M4, M3) of a parallel voltage regulator that are connected to the coil (L) can be used as the non-linear components. The voltage regulator and the modulation circuit can be mutually locked in order to prevent unwanted mutual influences between them.
(FR) Le présent circuit de modulation d'un transpondeur présente des composants non linéaires qui sont placés entre un transistor de commutation (M5) et les bornes (LA, LB) de la bobine. Il en résulte que la courbe caractéristique de modulation non linéaire a une portée plus élevée. Pour épargner une surface de puce, on peut utiliser comme composants non linéaires les diodes (M4, M3) d'un régulateur parallèle de tension, lesquelles diodes sont reliées à la bobine (L). Pour empêcher les effets indésirables mutuels entre le régulateur de tension et le circuit de modulation, on prévoit un verrouillage de l'un par rapport à l'autre.
