Abstract:
(EN) A turbo decoder (1) receiving turbo decoded data in units of a block and performing turbo decoding and operating with reduced power consumption mode. The turbo decoder (1) estimates the number of repetition corresponding to the signal-to-noise ratio estimated by a square mean circuit (20) with reference to a lookup table (21), decrements it at a counter section (22) and repeats turbo decoding the estimated number of times.
(FR) L'invention concerne un turbodécodeur (1) conçu pour recevoir des données turbodécodées en unités d'un bloc et pour exécuter un turbodécodage et fonctionner en mode de consommation d'énergie réduite. Le turbodécodeur (1) estime le nombre de répétition correspondant au rapport signal-bruit estimé par un circuit de moyenne quadratique (20) à partir d'une table de recherche (21), le décrémente à une section compteur (22) et répète le turbodécodage le nombre de fois estimé.
