Abstract
(EN)
An automatic baselining process for business bandwidth measures business bandwidth as monitored by a plurality of bandwidth monitoring devices positioned throughout a networked environment. The process includes autodiscovery of the business bandwidth sources and sinks (destinations), autolearning application bandwidth and utilization therefrom, and autobaselining end-to-end bandwidth. Autopartitioning of the observed data and end-to-end top level service level agreements into specific component metrics is also possible.

L'invention concerne un procédé de caractérisation automatique de largeurs de bandes dédiées aux affaires, qui mesure la largeur des bandes dédiées aux affaires en fonction des indications données par une pluralité d'appareils de contrôle de largeurs de bandes répartis dans un environnement réseau. Ledit procédé comprend la découverte automatique des sources et des puits (destinations) de largeurs de bandes dédiées aux affaires, l'auto-apprentissage des applications de largeurs de bandes et de leur utilisation, la caractérisation automatique de largeurs de bandes de bout en bout. Il est également possible de segmenter automatiquement les données observées et les accords de haut niveau de service de bout en bout en paramètres d'éléments spécifiques.
