Abstract
(EN) A syndiotactic styrene (co)polymer which comprises structural units of at least one kind as represented by general formula (1): (wherein Ra is hydrogen, halogeno, C1-C30 hydrocarbyl, or a substituent containing one or more atoms selected from among oxygen, nitrogen, phosphorus, selenium, silicon, tin, and germanium; and m is an integer of 0 to 5, provided that when m is 2 or above, Ras may be the same or different from each other) and which has a narrow molecular weight distribution and a tacticity of 30 % or above in terms of racemic pentad as determined by 13C-NMR spectroscopy based on phenyl C1 carbon signals; block copolymers bearing the above (co)polymer as one of the segments; block-graft polymers produced by modifying one block of the above block copolymer with a nitrogenous aromatic polymer; and a process for the production of syndiotactic styrene polymers by polymerizing a styrenic monomer by using as the catalyst a product obtained by reacting a transition metal compound selected from among compounds of general formulae (4): MR1xR2yR3zX14-(x+y+z), and (5): MR1uR2vX13-(u+v), with at least one promoter selected from among organoaluminum oxy compounds and so on.
(FR) L'invention concerne un (co)polymère de styrène syndiotactique qui comprend des motifs structuraux d'au moins un type, représenté par la formule générale (I), dans laquelle Ra représente hydrogène, halogéno, hydrocarbyle C1-C30, ou un substituant contenant au moins un atome sélectionné parmi l'oxygène, l'azote, le phosphore, le sélénium, le silicium, l'étain et le germanium ; et m représente un entier compris entre 0 et 5, à condition que, lorsque m est supérieur ou égal à 2, les radicaux Ra soient identiques ou différents. Ce (co)polymère de styrène présente une répartition de poids moléculaires étroite et une tacticité supérieure ou égale à 30 % en termes de pentade racémique, déterminée par spectroscopie RMN de C13 sur la base de signaux de phényle C1. L'invention concerne également des copolymères blocs comportant le (co)polymère mentionné ci-dessus, en tant qu'un de ses segments ; des copolymères blocs greffés produits par modification d'un bloc du copolymère bloc mentionné ci-dessus avec un polymère aromatique azoté ; ainsi qu'un procédé de production de polymères de styrène syndiotactiques par polymérisation d'un monomère styrénique au moyen d'un catalyseur qui se présente sous la forme du produit obtenu par la réaction d'un composé de métal de transition sélectionné parmi les composés mentionnés ci-dessus, de formule générale (4): MR1xR2yR3zX14-(x+y+z), et (5): MR1uR2vX13-(u+v), avec au moins un promoteur sélectionné parmi les composés oxy organoaluminiques, etc.
