Abstract
(EN) During catalytic dewaxing of paraffinic hydrocarbons, the exothermic catalytic dewaxing reaction is moderated by separating and cooling a heavy dewaxate having an initial boiling point of at least 800 °F+, and recycling it back into the dewaxing zone as quench liquid. The heavy dewaxate reacts very little, if at all, with the hydrogen in the dewaxing zone. This has been found to be particularly useful for dewaxing hydroisomerized, paraffinic Fischer-Tropsch synthesized, hydrocarbons.
(FR) Pendant le déparaffinage catalytique d'hydrocarbures paraffiniques, la réaction de déparaffinage catalytique exothermique est atténuée par la séparation et le refroidissement d'un déparaffinat lourd dont le point d'ébullition initial est d'au moins 800 °F+, et par son recyclage par un retour dans la zone de déparaffinage sous forme de liquide de refroidissement. Ce déparaffinat lourd réagit très peu, sinon pas du tout, avec l'hydrogène dans la zone de déparaffinage. Ce procédé s'est révélé particulièrement utile pour déparaffiner des hydrocarbures hydro-isomérisés, synthétisés par procédé paraffinique Fischer-Tropsch.
