Abstract
(EN) By a method for monitoring a supply meter part in the meter, a movable indicator is illuminated through a pane and the movement is detected continuously outside the pane by means of reflected light, and an alarm signal is created, preferably when the indicator has not been standing still for a first period of time within a second period of time. The illuminating means and/or light detector means are directional and adjustable. The meter is preferably a water meter and the indicator its star wheel. Equipment for this monitoring has light detector means outside the casing of the meter to detect reflected light, and analytical means to indicate movements of the indicator and to form an alarm signal. Preferably, the equipment has illuminating means to illuminate the indicator, preferably with infrared light. Said means are preferably built together into a scanning unit which is adapted to be fastened on the meter. The scanning unit is preferably adjustable without using tools, and the equipment has preferably a control light to show an output signal from the light detector means.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de surveiller une partie de compteur de consommation, un indicateur mobile étant éclairé à travers une vitre, son déplacement étant détecté de manière continue à l'extérieur de ladite vitre à l'aide d'une lumière réfléchie, et un signal d'alarme étant créé, de préférence, lorsque l'indicateur n'est pas resté immobile pendant une durée prédéterminée mesurée à l'intérieur d'une seconde durée prédéterminée. Les moyens d'éclairage et/ou de détecteur lumineux sont dirigés et réglables. Le compteur est, de préférence, un compteur d'eau, et l'indicateur est une roue en étoile. L'équipement de surveillance comprend des moyens de détection légers situés à l'extérieur du boîtier du compteur destinés à détecter la lumière réfléchie, et des moyens d'analyse destinés à indiquer les déplacements de l'indicateur, et à former un signal d'alarme. L'équipement comprend, de préférence, des moyens d'éclairage destinés à éclairer l'indicateur, de préférence, une lumière infrarouge. Lesdits moyens sont, de préférence, construits ensemble dans une unité de balayage conçue pour être fixée sur le compteur. L'unité de balayage est, de préférence, réglée sans outils, et l'équipement comprend, de préférence, une lumière de contrôle destinée à signaler un signal de sortie provenant des moyens de détection de lumière.
