Abstract
(DE) Eine chemische, mechanische und/oder optische Schutz- und/oder Diffusionssperrschicht (16) auf einem Metall- oder Kunststoffsubstrat (14), welche Schicht aus einer organischen Schichtmatrix (10) mit dispergierten metallhaltigen Partikeln (12) besteht, wobei die metallhaltige organische Schicht (16) ausgehend von wenigstens einem, auch substituierten Kohlenwasserstoff und einer metallhaltigen Komponente plasmapolymerisiert ist. Die Schutz- und/oder Diffusionssperrschicht (16) liegt in submikroner Dicke (d) mit feindispers inkorporierten metallpartikeln (12) einer unterhalb 50 % der Schichtdicke (d) liegenden Korngrösse vor. Die organische Schichtmatrix (10) wird durch Plasmapolymerisation aus einem Prozessgas mit wenigstens einem, auch substituierten Kohlenwasserstoff, einer metallhaltigen Komponente und/oder einem anorganischen Gas in einem evakuierbaren Reaktor abgeschieden. Während des Reaktionsablaufs können organische Monomere mit unterschiedlicher Polarität und/oder metallhaltige Komponenten in unterschiedlicher Konzentration in den Reaktor eingeleitet werden. Die Schutz- und/oder Diffusionssperrschicht (16) wird beispielsweise als Korrosionsschutzschicht von metallischen Substraten (14) oder als flexible Diffusionsbarriere mit einstellbarer elektrischer Leitfähigkeit für Kunststoffverpackungen verwendet. Das Verfahren wird u.a. zur elektrisch leitenden Beschichtung von Fasern, Whiskers und Drähten angewendet.
(EN) The invention relates to a chemical, mechanical and/or optical protective and/or diffusion barrier layer (16) disposed on a metal or plastic substrate (14). Said layer consists of an organic layer matrix (10) with metal-containing particles (12) dispersed therein said metal-containing organic layer (16) being plasma-polymerized starting from at least one hydrocarbon which can be substituted and one metal-containing component. The protective and/or diffusion barrier layer (16) is used in a thickness (d) in the submicron range and contains metal particles (12) finely dispersed therein, that have a grain size that lies below 50 % of the layer thickness (d). The organic layer matrix (10) is deposited by plasma polymerization from a process gas that comprises at least one hydrocarbon that can also be substituted and one metal-containing component and/or an inorganic gas in a reactor that can be evacuated. During the progression of the process organic monomers having different polarities and/or metal-containing components having different concentrations can be introduced into the reactor. The protective and/or diffusion barrier layer (16) is for example used as anticorrosive layer of metal substrates (14) or as a flexible diffusion barrier with an adjustable electroconductivity for plastic packagings. The inventive method is inter alia used for providing fibers, whiskers and rods with an electroconductive coating.

Ladite couche est formée d'une matrice (10) organique dans laquelle sont dispersées des particules (12) contenant du métal. Cette couche organique (16) contenant du métal est polymérisée au plasma sur la base d'au moins un hydrocarbure, éventuellement substitué, et d'un constituant contenant du métal. Cette couche (16) possède une épaisseur (d) qui est de l'ordre du sous-micron et contient des particules (12) métalliques incorporées finement dispersées dont la taille est inférieure à 50 % de l'épaisseur (d) de la couche. La matrice organique (10) est déposée par polymérisation par plasma à l'aide d'un gaz de travail contenant au moins un hydrocarbure, éventuellement substitué, un constituant contenant du métal et/ou un gaz inorganique, dans un réacteur dans lequel le vide peut être fait. Pendant le processus de réaction, des monomères organiques de polarité différente et/ou des constituants contenant du métal peuvent être introduits dans le réacteur dans des concentrations variables. Ladite couche (16) est utilisée par exemple en tant que couche de protection contre la corrosion pour des substrats métalliques (14) ou en tant que barrière de diffusion souple à conductivité électrique réglable pour des emballages en plastique. Ce procédé est appliqué entre autres pour déposer un revêtement électro-conducteur sur des fibres, des pointes de contact et des fils métalliques.
