Abstract
(EN) A method for preparing an oxide powder, which comprises holding in a fluidized state a base material powder comprising a first oxide and having an adsorbed water content of 0.1 to 50 %, an average particle size of 0.005 to 0.5 μm and a number of surface hydroxyl groups of 0.1 to 25 μmol/m2, contacting the base material powder held in a fluidized state with a halide or an alkoxide containing a metal or semi-metal being the same as or different from that of the first oxide together with an inert carrier gas while heating it to a temperature of 25 to 800°C, to thereby coat the base material powder with a coating film comprising a second oxide, and then heating reaction by-products comprising a hydrogen halide or alcohol formed by the above contacting to a temperature of 200 to 1000°C, to thereby remove the by-products. The method can be employed for forming, on the surface of the base material powder of a first oxide, a coating film comprising a second oxide being the same as or different from the first oxide, with homogeneity and at a low cost by a chemical procedure, and thus for providing a base material powder and a coating film layer having satisfactory physical and chemical characteristics.
(FR) Cette invention a trait à un procédé de production d'une poudre d'oxyde, consistant à maintenir à l'état fluidisé une poudre de matériau de base renfermant un premier oxyde et possédant une teneur en eau adsorbée comprise entre 0,1 et 50 %, une taille particulaire moyenne comprise entre 0,005 et 0,5 μm ainsi qu'un nombre de groupes hydroxy de surface compris entre 0,1 et 25 μmol/m2, à mettre en contact la poudre de matériau de base maintenue à l'état fluidisé avec un halogénure ou un alcoxyde contenant un métal ou un semi-métal, identique au premier oxyde ou différent de celui-ci, en même temps qu'avec un gaz vecteur inerte tout en chauffant à une température comprise entre 25 et 800 °C, afin de recouvrir la poudre de matériau de base d'un film d'enduction renfermant un second oxyde et ensuite à chauffer à une température comprise entre 200 et 1000 °C les sous-produits de réaction comprenant un halogénure d'hydrogène ou un alcool formé par la mise en contact susmentionnée et ce, afin d'extraire les sous-produits. On peut utiliser ce procédé pour former, par voie chimique, à la surface de la poudre de matériau de base constituée d'un premier oxyde, un film d'enduction comprenant un second oxyde identique au premier ou différent de celui-ci et ce, de façon homogène et à faible coût de revient et, partant, pour produire une poudre de matériau de base ainsi qu'un film d'enduction aux caractéristiques physiques et chimiques satisfaisantes.
