Abstract
(EN) A vehicle is subjected to many requirements and wishes. One of these is that the vehicle is to protect passengers and load during a collision. This is achieved in that different parts in and on the vehicle are designed and constructed such that they, in different ways, absorb, distribute and channel energy during a collision. A bumper bar for a vehicle must be deformed both elastically and/or plastically during a collision. This invention offers a bumper bar that in its basic construction provides these properties. The invention concerns a bumper bar for vehicles where the bar is extended and has a closed cross-section with at least one forward flange (1) facing forwards in the normal direction of motion of the vehicle, an upper web (3) and a lower web (4). The forward flange (1) of the bumper bar is provided with elastically deformable grooves (6).
(FR) On exige et on attend beaucoup d'un véhicule. Parmi ces exigences on attend du véhicule qu'il protège ses passagers et sa cargaison en cas de collision. On obtient un tel résultat par une conception et une construction des différentes parties du véhicule qui favorise de différentes façons une absorption, une répartition et une canalisation de l'énergie pendant une collision. Un pare-chocs de véhicule doit pouvoir se déformer de façon élastique et/ou plastique en cas de collision. La présente invention concerne un pare-chocs qui dans sa construction basique offre ces propriétés. Ce pare-chocs de véhicule comprend une barre qui déborde et qui possède une coupe fermée pourvue d'au moins deux joues avant orientées vers l'avant dans le sens normal du déplacement du véhicule, une bande supérieure (3) et une bande inférieure (4). Cette joue avant (1) du pare-chocs est pourvue d'encoches élastiquement déformables.
