Abstract
(EN) A method of identifying a drug that inhibits the RSV membrane fusion machinery, such as the HRSV membrane fusion machinery; drugs that bind the N-helix coiled-coil of HRSV, particularly the N-helix coiled-coil pocket, and, thus, inhibit HRSV infection of cells, such as human cells; methods of inhibiting (partially or totally) HRSV infection of an individual; antibodies that bind to the N-helix coiled-coil region of HRSV F1; and pharmaceutical compositions comprising HRSV infection neutralizing antibodies.
(FR) La présente invention concerne : un procédé permettant d'identifier un médicament qui inhibe le processus de fusion de la membrane du virus respiratoire syncytial (VRS), tel que le processus de fusion de la membrane du VRS humain (VRSH) ; des médicaments qui se lient à la superhélice de l'hélice N du VRSH, en particulier à la poche en superhélice de l'hélice N, et, par conséquent, inhibent l'infection de cellules, telles que des cellules humaines, par le VRSH ; des procédés permettant d'inhiber (totalement ou en partie) l'infection d'un individu par le VRSH ; des anticorps qui se lient à la région de superhélice de l'hélice N du VRSH F1 ; et des compositions pharmaceutiques comprenant des anticorps qui neutralisent l'infection par le VRSH.
