(EN)The invention relates to linearisation of a radio frequency (RF) power amplifier (5) by predistortion. Digital predistortion is performed (1) on received digitized base-band input signals to compensate for amplifier distortion. The resulting signal is converted to an analog signal via two D/A converters (2), after which analog frequency conversion is performed (3) on the analog signal to achieve a radio frequency (RF) signal. This radio frequency signal is exposed to analog predistortion (4) and thereafter amplified by the power amplifier.
(FR)L'invention se rapporte à la linéarisation d'un amplificateur de puissance (5) radiofréquence (RF) par prédistorsion. La prédistorsion numérique est effectuée (1) sur des signaux d'entrée reçus en bande de base, numérisés, de manière à compenser la distorsion de l'amplificateur. Le signal résultant est transformé en signal analogique par l'intermédiaire de deux convertisseurs N/A (2), puis une conversion de fréquence analogique est effectuée (3) sur le signal analogique aux fins de production d'un signal radiofréquence (RF). Ce signal radiofréquence est soumis à une prédistorsion analogique (4) puis amplifié par l'amplificateur de puissance.
