(EN)An isolated TNF-receptor polypeptide comprises the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2, a variant thereof which is capable of activating NFkB, or a fragment of either thereof whcih is capable of activating NFkB. Polynucleotides encoding such a TNF receptor are also described. A method for identification of a substance that modulates TNF receptor acitivity comprises contacting a polypeptide of the invention with a test substance in the presence of a reporter whose activity is mediated by NFkB and monitoring NFkB mediated activity.
(FR)L'invention concerne un polypeptide isolé de récepteur de TNF, qui comporte la séquence d'acides aminés SEQ ID NO: 2, une variante de celle-ci capable d'activer NFkB, ou un fragment du polypeptide ou de la variante capable d'activer NFkB. L'invention concerne également des polynucléotides codant pour ce récepteur de TNF. Un procédé d'identification d'une substance qui module l'activité du récepteur de TNF comporte les étapes consistant à mettre en contact un polypeptide de l'invention avec une substance d'essai en présence d'un rapporteur dont l'activité dépend de NFkB, et à surveiller l'activité dépendant de NFkB.
