Abstract:
(EN) For the production of a porous cross-linked polymer material formed of a water-in-oil high internal phase emulsion, a method is provided which comprises mixing and emulsifying an oil phase containing a monomer component and a water phase containing water thereby obtaining a water-in-oil high internal phase emulsion, partly polymerizing the resultant emulsion, imparting a prescribed shape to the partly polymerized emulsion, and subsequently causing the after-polymerization in process to be completed. This method is capable of continuously producing a porous cross-linked polymer material excelling absorption properties and mechanical strength in a short period of time.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'un matériau polymère réticulé poreux constitué d'une émulsion huileuse à phase interne élevée. Ledit procédé consiste à mélanger et à émulsifier une phase huileuse contenant un composant monomère et une phase aqueuse contenant de l'eau et à obtenir ainsi une émulsion huileuse à phase interne élevée. Il consiste ensuite à polymériser partiellement l'émulsion résultante, à donner une forme prédéterminée à l'émulsion partiellement polymérisée et à induire l'achèvement de l'après-polymérisation en cours. Ledit procédé permet la production continue et rapide d'un matériau polymère réticulé poreux possédant d'excellentes propriétés d'absorption et de résistance mécanique.
