Abstract:
(EN) 3-(3-Hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl)-3-methylbutyric acid can be obtained by substituting the substituent at the 3-position of the benzene ring of a butyric acid derivative which can be easily and efficiently produced by reacting a hydroxyl-protected 2-methoxyphenol, wherein the hydroxyl group of 2-methoxyphenol is protected in the form of a sulfonate, with 3-methylcrotonic acid in the presence of an acid. By further converting the carboxyl group into a formyl group, 3-(3-hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl)-3-methyl butyl aldehyde can be easily produced. This aldehyde derivative can be easily derived into a compound, which is excellent as a sweetener with a high sweetness, by reductive alkylation with Aspartame.
(FR) Selon l'invention, on peut obtenir de l'acide 3-(3-hydroxy-4-méthoxyphényl)-3-méthylbutyrique en substituant le substituant en position 3 du noyau benzène d'un dérivé d'acide butyrique qui peut être facilement et efficacement produit par réaction d'un 2-méthoxyphénol protégé par hydroxyle avec de l'acide 3-méthylcrotonique en présence d'un acide, le groupe hydroxyle d'un 2-méthoxyphénol étant protégé sous la forme d'un sulphonate. En convertissant le groupe carboxyle en un groupe formyle, on peut facilement produire du 3-(3-hydroxy-4-méthoxyphényl)-3-méthyle- butyle-aldéhyde. On peut facilement dériver ce dérivé d'aldéhyde en un composé convenant parfaitement comme édulcorant à goût très sucré en procédant à une alkylation réductrice avec de l'aspartame.
