(EN)The present invention is related to a method and apparatus for scheduling position measurements of a mobile station (MS1) operating in a radio communication network (101). Input data representing the current geographical position (106) of the mobile station MS1) is received. The position measurements are scheduled dependent upon the distance (104) between a predefined reference point (105) and the current geographical position (106) of the mobile station MS1) as derived from the received input data. The invention includes a method for providing Location Dependent Billing in which the scheduling method is applied as well as network nodes, mobile stations and radio communication networks in which the scheduling method is implemented.
(FR)Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé et à un appareil servant à planifier les mesures de positions d'une station mobile (MS1) opérant dans un réseau de radiocommunication (101). Les données d'entrée représentant la position géographique en cours (106) de la station mobile (MS1) sont reçues. Les mesures de position sont planifiées en fonction de la distance (104) entre un point de référence prédéfini (105) et la position géographique en cours (106) de la station mobile (MS1), cette distance étant dérivée des données d'entrée reçues. Cette invention concerne un procédé de facturation dépendant de la position, dans lequel ce procédé de planification est appliqué, ainsi que des noeuds de réseau, des stations mobiles et des réseaux de radiocommunications dans lesquels ce procédé de planification est mis en oeuvre.
