(EN)A method and apparatus for accelerating data transport through private communication networks. The data sources may include electronic mails, computer files, digitized pictures, voice and video. The method combines smart content-based data compression schemes with intelligent routing to efficiently move information across a private network. The basic methodology is applicable to any private messaging communications protocol (e.g., Lotus Notes, Microsoft Exchange).
(FR)L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil destinés à accélérer le transport des données sur des réseaux de communication privés. Les sources de données peuvent comprendre des courriers électroniques, des fichiers informatiques, des images numérisées, des données vocales et vidéo. Ledit procédé combine des systèmes intelligents de compression de données de contenu avec un acheminement intelligent, afin de transporter efficacement des informations sur un réseau privé.
