(FR) ARTICLE CYLINDRIQUE ET SON PROCEDE DE FABRICATION
Abstract:
(EN) A cylindrical article (1), characterized in that it comprises a porous cylindrical body (2) comprising PTFE resin and a coating film layer (5) which comprises a resin of different type from PTFE and is formed on at least one of the inner circumferential face (7) and the outer circumferential face (8) of the body in a state wherein the coating layer enters partially into through holes (6). The coating film layer can be formed through application of the resin in a solution form on s surface of the body. The cylindrical article has excellent mechanical strength and is free from the exfoliation of the coating film layer. Further, the formation of the coating film layer from a fluorine-containing resin, a crosslinkable resin such as an imide resin or a PES resin leads to providing a cylindrical article (1) having excellent mechanical strength and thermal resistance. For the use thereof as a fixing belt, it is preferred to form the coating film layer (5) only in an area of an inner circumferential part (3) and to thereby take advantage of the releasing property of the PTFE resin and the impregnation capability of a silicon oil.
(FR) L'invention concerne un article cylindrique (1) caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un corps cylindrique poreux (2) garni d'une résine PTFE et d'une couche pelliculaire de revêtement (5) contenant un résine autre que PTFE, cette couche étant formée sur la surface circonférentielle intérieure (7) et/ou sur la surface circonférentielle extérieure (8) dudit corps dans un état impliquant l'entrée partielle de la couche de revêtement dans des trous traversants (6). Cette couche pelliculaire de revêtement peut être formée par application de la résine sous forme de solution sur la surface dudit corps. Cet article cylindrique présente une résistance mécanique importante et empêche l'exfoliation de cette couche pelliculaire de revêtement. Par ailleurs, la formation de cette couche pelliculaire de revêtement à partir d'une résine contenant du fluor, d'une résine réticulable telle qu'une résine d'imide ou d'une résine PES permet de produire un article cylindrique (1) présentant une résistance mécanique et une résistance thermique importantes. Pour utiliser cet article comme courroie de fixation, il est préférable de former cette couche pelliculaire de revêtement (5) uniquement dans une zone d'une partie circonférentielle interne (3) de façon à pouvoir profiter de la propriété de libération de la résine PTFE et de la capacité d'imprégnation d'une huile de silicone.
