Abstract:
(EN) A catalyst having a ceramic carrier and a catalytic active component dispersed and carried thereon, wherein the surface of each particle of the ceramic carrier is individually covered by a thin film of alumina and the catalytic active component is carried on the thin film. The catalyst may be prepared by a method comprising immersing the ceramic carrier in a solution of a metal compound containing aluminum, prefiring the impregnated carrier, immersing the prefired product in hot water followed by drying, then subjecting the dried product to final firing, and finally allowing the alumina thin film on the surface of the carrier to carry the catalytic active component thereon. The catalyst, although it has an alumina thin film formed on the surface thereof, has an increased pore diameter, a enhanced porosity and a reduced pressure loss.
(FR) L'invention concerne un catalyseur comprenant un support céramique et un composant catalytique actif dispersé et disposé sur ledit support. Le catalyseur est caractérisé en ce que la surface de chaque particule du support céramique est recouverte d'une fine couche d'alumine et en ce que le composant catalytique actif repose sur ladite couche. Le catalyseur peut être préparé par un procédé consistant à immerger le support céramique dans une solution d'un composé métallique contenant de l'aluminium, à préchauffer le support imprégné, à immerger le produit préchauffé dans de l'eau chaude puis à le sécher, à soumettre ensuite le produit séché à une opération de chauffage finale, de manière à permettre au composant catalytique actif de reposer sur la fine couche d'alumine à la surface du support. Le catalyseur, bien que comportant une fine couche d'alumine sur sa surface, présente un diamètre des pores accru, une porosité améliorée et une perte de pression réduite.
