Title: ELECTROPUNCTUAL STIMULATION ELECTRODE AND MANIPULATING IMPLEMENT FOR THE SAME
Abstract:
The invention relates to an electropunctual stimulation electrode (1) comprising, in particular, a needle-shaped contact part (2, 3) and a flexible supply line (4). The contact part (2, 3) is provided with a bead (9) which is made of an electrically insulating material, and which overlaps the connecting point (6) of the contact part (2, 3) and line (4). The contact part (2, 3) is advantageously comprised, at least on the surface thereof, of titanium. A manipulating implement (19), which is provided for manipulating the electrode (1), is constructed as a hollow rod (20) that, on one end, comprises a holding device (21), which is matched to the size of the bead (9) of the electrode, and which can be actuated by the touch of a finger.
