Abstract:
(EN) An abrasion tester designed such that the slip ratio between a test piece (27) and an endless belt (26) is controlled for each test piece such that the slip ratio conforms to a slip ratio data stored in a memory unit (12). That is, in real run the slip ratio between the test piece (27) and the endless belt (26) is controlled for each test piece made of each candidate material such that the slip ratio conforms to the slip ratio corresponding to variations in the slip ratio between a tire made of each candidate material and the road. Here the slip ratio between a tire of each candidate material and the road at each point of time in real run is measured from actual measurements of the force acting on the tire at each point of time in real run. Therefore, the abrasion tester is adapted to satisfactorily simulate the amount of abrasion when the tire is installed in a real car and correctly estimate the order of amount of abrasion of various tires made of candidate materials.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif d'essai d'abrasion permettant de contrôler le taux de glissement entre une pièce d'essai (27) et une courroie sans fin (26), pour chaque pièce d'essai, de sorte que le taux en question soit conforme à une valeur de taux enregistrée dans une unité de mémoire (12). Ainsi, on contrôle en contexte réel ledit taux observé entre la pièce d'essai (27) et la courroie sans fin (26), pour chaque pièce d'essai et pour chaque matériau testé, de sorte que le taux soit conforme à la valeur de taux correspondant aux variations de taux entre des pneumatiques constitués des différents matériaux à tester, d'une part, et la chaussée, d'autre part. En l'occurrence, on mesure le taux entre un pneumatique constitué de chaque matériau à tester et la chaussée, à tel ou tel moment, en contexte réel, d'après les mesures effectives de la force agissant sur le pneumatique à tel ou tel moment, en contexte réel. Le dispositif considéré permet ainsi de simuler de manière satisfaisante l'ampleur de l'abrasion lorsque le pneumatique est installé sur un véhicule réel et d'estimer correctement l'ordre de grandeur de l'abrasion pour les pneumatiques respectifs constitués chacun d'un matériau différent testé.
