Abstract:
(EN) A power transmission device, such as a torque converter or hydraulic coupling, for transmission of power by utilizing kinetic energy of fluid, in which fluid is used as a medium for transmission of power and kinetic energy imparted to fluid by a prime mover is derived as rotary power, wherein water is fed as working fluid to a coupling section composed of an impeller (10) and a runner (11), water is fed as lubricating fluid to bearings (8, 9) supporting an input shaft (7) and an output shaft (16) coupled respectively to the impeller (10) and runner (11), and water is fed as working fluid for hydraulic servo which controls a scoop tube (14) regulating the amount of water in the coupling section.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif de transmission de puissance, du type convertisseur de couple ou couplage hydraulique, qui permet d'assurer la transmission de puissance par le biais de l'énergie cinétique d'un fluide. En l'occurrence, on utilise un fluide comme milieu pour la transmission de puissance, et l'énergie cinétique appliquée au fluide par un moteur d'entraînement est induite par puissance rotative. On injecte de l'eau comme fluide de travail dans un coupleur comprenant un élément menant (10) et un élément mené (11). L'eau est injectée comme fluide lubrifiant dans des paliers (8, 9) qui soutiennent un arbre d'entrée (7) et un arbre de sortie (16) couplés respectivement à l'élément menant (10) et à l'élément mené (11), et de l'eau est injectée par ailleurs comme fluide de travail pour un servomécanisme hydraulique qui contrôle un tube-écope (14) régulant la quantité d'eau dans le coupleur.
