(EN) A piezoelectric motor (320) comprising: a layer of piezoelectric material (330) having narrow edge surfaces and first and second large face surfaces (332), formed with at least three arms (322), each extending radially outward from a common central region (326) and terminating in an end; and at least one electrode (360) on the first face surface and at least one electrode on the second face surface. Elliptical vibration (364) generated can be used to drive rotory shafts (372). A variety of piezoelectric motors disclosed can be used to drive the blades of shavers.
