Abstract:
(EN) A method for reducing or preventing damage to a fibre, which damage occurs when a fibre breaks during winding or unwinding of the fibre, possibly via guide wheels, on or from a rotating spool, wherein an optical measuring device, which includes a light source and a detector, continuously measures the presence of the fibre at a location some distance away from the rotating spool without coming into physical contact with the fibre during measuring.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de réduction ou de prévention de dommages causés à une fibre, dommages survenant lorsqu'une fibre se casse au cours de son enroulement sur une bobine rotative ou de son déroulement de cette dernière, éventuellement au moyen de roues de guidage. Le procédé se caractérise en ce qu'un dispositif de mesure optique, qui comporte une source lumineuse et un détecteur, mesure en continu la présence de la fibre d'un emplacement distant de la bobine rotative sans entrer en contact physique avec la fibre au cours de la mesure.
