Abstract:
(EN) An orthopedic magnetic resonance imaging system and imaging methods are provided. The system includes a source of imaging data sets from imaging a diseased joint of a patient, and is operative to segment surfaces in a joint based on information contained within at least one of the data sets, to register in three dimensions information represented by a data set with respect to information represented by one or more further data sets, and to detect differences between information represented by the data sets caused by progression of disease in the joint.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système et des procédés d'imagerie orthopédique par résonance magnétique. Le système comprend une source d'ensembles de données d'imagerie provenant de l'imagerie d'une articulation malade chez un patient et fonctionne de manière à segmenter les surfaces faisant partie d'un joint sur la base des informations contenues dans au moins un des ensembles de données, enregistrer en trois dimensions les informations représentées par un ensemble de données par rapport aux informations représentées par un ou plusieurs ensembles de données ultérieurs et pour détecter les différences entre les informations représentées par les ensembles de données lorsque ces différences sont dues à la progression de la maladie dans l'articulation.
