A flowmeter for determining a fluid flow rate on the basis of calibration curves and the output of a sensing circuit comprising a flow rate sensing part including a heater (33) for an indirectly heated flow rate sensor unit and a bridge circuit (73) including sensing elements of a fluid temperature sensing part as constituent resistors. The circuit characteristic value of the bridge circuit (73) are varied in steps by a multiplexer (731) for selectively connecting one of the terminals for connection between resistors connected in series and the output terminal. The number of calibration curves agrees with the number of circuit characteristic values, and one of the calibration curves is selected in accordance with the circuit characteristic value selected by the multiplexer (731). For each calibration curve, a range of flow rate to be measured is determined. A calibration curve is selected in accordance with the range where the measured fluid flow rate lies by controlling the multiplexer (731) according to the measured fluid flow rate. The flowmeter enables measurement of flow rate with good precision in a wide flow rate range.

La présente invention concerne un débitmètre permettant de déterminer le débit d'un fluide sur la base des courbes d'étalonnage et de la sortie d'un circuit de détection. Ce débitmètre comporte une partie de détection du débit qui comprend un élément chauffant (33) destiné à une unité de détection de débit chauffée indirectement, et un circuit en pont (73) comportant des éléments de détection d'une partie de détection de température du fluide comme résistances constitutives. La variation des valeurs caractéristiques de circuit du circuit en pont (73) se fait progressivement par un multiplexeur (731) pour connecter sélectivement une des bornes et assurer ainsi la connexion entre les résistances connectées en série et la borne de sortie. Le nombre de courbes d'étalonnage correspond au nombre de valeurs caractéristiques de circuit, une des courbes d'étalonnage étant sélectionnée en fonction de la valeur caractéristique de circuit sélectionnée par le multiplexeur. Pour chaque courbe d'étalonnage, on détermine une plage de débit à mesurer. On sélectionne une courbe d'étalonnage en fonction de la plage dans laquelle se trouve le débit du fluide mesuré en commandant le multiplexeur (731) selon le débit du fluide mesuré. En outre, ce débitmètre permet de mesurer le débit avec précision dans une large plage de débit.
