Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a method for the determination of stand attributes with an instrument above the stand. In the method, three-dimensional information is collected from the stands by using such a number of sample hits, that individual trees or groups of trees can be distinguished. A three-dimensional tree height model is produced from collected information. Stand attributes - which are characteristics of individual trees or groups of trees and/or characteristics derived using these information for larger areas - are determined from the tree height model. The invention also relates to a computer program which can be used to carry out the second and third step of the method.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de déterminer des attributs de matériel sur pied au moyen d'un instrument situé au-dessus de ce matériel sur pied. A cet effet, on recueille des informations tridimensionnelles provenant de ces matériels sur pied en utilisant un nombre de points d'échantillonnage suffisants pour pouvoir distinguer des arbres isolés ou des groupes d'arbres. A partir de l'information recueillie, on établit un modèle tridimensionnel des hauteurs d'arbres. A partir de ce modèle de hauteurs d'arbres, on détermine des attributs de matériel sur pied, c'est-à-dire des caractéristiques d'arbres isolés ou de groupes d'arbres et/ou des caractéristiques obtenues à partir de ces informations pour de plus grandes zones. L'invention concerne également un logiciel permettant l'exécution de la deuxième et de la troisième étape du procédé.
