Abstract:
(EN) The present invention is directed to an elastic laminate. The elastic laminate includes: an elastomeric material layer having a first surface and a second surface opposing the first surface; and a nonwoven layer which is joined to the first surface of the elastomeric material layer to form a laminate. The nonwoven layer includes bi-component fibers having a sheath/core structure. The sheath contains an ethylene-propylene random copolymer which contains from about 7 mol % to about 15 mol % of ethylene comonomer randomly distributed in the polymer backbone. The ethylene-propylene random copolymer has a PEP Ratio of from about 50 mol % to about 100 mol %. The laminate is mechanically stretched to form an elastic laminate. By employing the nonwoven layer of the present invention in the elastic laminate, the elastic laminate provides an improved elongation ability against the mechanical stretching applied thereto during the mechanical stretch process and/or during the use of articles. Consequently, the elastic laminate of the present invention can prevent an undesirable break of the elastic laminate, such as shredding and/or tearing.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un laminé élastique comprenant: une couche de matériau élastomère ayant une première surface et une seconde surface opposée à ladite première surface; une couche non tissée qui est fixée à la première surface de la couche de matériau élastomère pour former un laminé. La couche non tissée comprend des fibres à deux composantes ayant une structure âme/gaine. La gaine contient un copolymère éthylène-propylène quelconque qui comprend d'environ 7 % mol à environ 15 % mol de comonomère éthylène réparti de manière aléatoire dans le squelette du polymère. Le copolymère éthylène-propylène quelconque a un taux de PEP compris entre environ 50 % mol et environ 100 % mol. Le laminé est étiré mécaniquement pour former un laminé élastique. L'utilisation de la couche non tissée de la présente invention dans le laminé élastique permet audit laminé élastique de fournir une aptitude à l'allongement améliorée contre l'étirage mécanique qui lui est appliqué durant le processus d'étirage mécanique et/ou durant l'utilisation des articles. En conséquence, le laminé élastique de la présente invention permet d'éviter la rupture indésirée du laminé élastique telle que le déchiquetage ou la déchirure.
