(EN)Sub-micron-structured (nanostructured) polymer film or coatings are made by coating a substrate with a mixture of materials. One of the materials is removed using a selective solvent, leaving pores or other nanostructure. The substrate may be grooved, providing a competing nanostructure. The coating may act as an antireflective coating, optical retarder, optical diffuser, or orientation layer.
(FR)L'invention concerne un film ou un revêtement polymère à structure submicronique (nanostructure) qui est fabriqué par application d'un mélange de matières sur un substrat. L'une de ces matières est retirée à l'aide d'un solvant sélectif, laissant des pores ou d'autres nanostructures. Le substrat peut être rainuré, offrant une nanostructure à compétition d'ancrage. Le revêtement peut agir comme revêtement anti-reflet, retardateur optique, diffuseur optique, ou comme couche d'orientation.
