(EN)A medical device for implantation and a TET system which includes the device as a component are provided. The device is designed so that it does not substantially restrict blood flow in the tissue surrounding the implanted device, thereby minimizing the risk of ischemia and necrosis. This enables the device to be implanted near tissue layers that are otherwise susceptible to blood flow restrictions when a device of the same volume and height is implanted. Blood flow adequate to prevent ischemia and necrosis is maintained by minimizing extravascular tissue pressure caused by the implantation of the device.
(FR)L'invention concerne un dispositif médical destiné à l'implantation et un système de transmission d'énergie transcutanée qui comprend ledit dispositif en tant que composant. Le dispositif est conçu de telle manière qu'il ne limite pratiquement pas le flux sanguin dans les tissus environnant le dispositif implanté, ce qui permet de minimiser le risque d'ischémie et de nécrose. On peut ainsi implanter le dispositif près des couches de tissus qui sont susceptibles aux restrictions de flux sanguin, lorsqu'on implante un dispositif de même volume et hauteur. On maintient un flux sanguin approprié à la prévention de l'ischémie et de la nécrose en minimisant la pression tissulaire extravasculaire provoquée par l'implantation du dispositif.
