(EN)A track assembly and electrolytic container for the electro-refining and electrowinning of metals is disclosed. The container (1) of this invention has a mirror image integrally cast lip (13a) and trough sections (15a) in each interior side wall (7a) of the container for accepting a track assembly (27a). The track assembly has a track means (29a) for engaging and guiding a separating member and a track retainer means (31a) for frictionally engaging and securing the track means to both of the interior side walls. The track assembly and electrolytic container of the instant invention facilitates the removal of unwanted slimes from the electrolytic container while keeping the electrolytic process operational during the removal period.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un ensemble rail et un récipient d'électrolyse destiné à l'électro-affinage et à l'électro-extraction de métaux. Ce récipient (1) possède une lèvre coulée (13a) symétrique et des parties en auge (15a) dans chaque paroi latérale intérieure (7a) du récipient destinées à recevoir un ensemble rail (27a). Cet ensemble rail possède un rail (29a) permettant d'entrer en contact avec un élément de séparation et de guider ce dernier et un organe de retenue de rail (31a) destiné à maintenir un contact par frottement et fixer ce rail aux deux parois latérales intérieures. Cet ensemble rail et ce récipient d'électrolyse permettent de retirer plus facilement les dépôts indésirables du récipient d'électrolyse tout en maintenant le processus d'électrolyse opérationnel durant cette période.
