(EN)A supported catalyst comprises a cationic rhodium (I) complex of formula (1) wherein R?1¿ and R?2¿ are the same or different hydrocarbon groups of up to 30 C atoms, or R?1¿ and R?2¿ are linked to form a ring, and a heterogeneous support medium that provides anionic binding sites. Such a complex is particularly useful as a catalyst in a process of hydrogenating an aldehyde to produce the corresponding primary alcohol.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un catalyseur supporté comprenant, d'une part un complexe de rhodium cationique (I) représenté par la formule générale (1) dans laquelle R?1¿ et R?2¿ sont des groupes hydrocarbures identiques ou différents portant jusqu'à 30 atomes de carbone, ou bien dans laquelle R?1¿ et R?2¿ sont liés en cycle, et d'autre part un milieu support hétérogène fournissant des sites de liaison anioniques. Un tel complexe convient particulièrement comme catalyseur pour l'hydrogénation d'un aldéhyde utilisé pour la production de l'alcool primaire correspondant.
