Title: METHOD OF STORING THERMOSETTING FLUORORESIN POWDER COATING COMPOSITION
Abstract:
A thermosetting fluororesin powder coating composition comprising fluororesin particles is stored at a temperature lower by at least 20°C than the glass transition temperature of the fluororesin or at a temperature of 20°C or lower. Preferably, the composition is stored in an atmosphere having a relative humidity of 60% or lower and, if possible, it is placed in a sealed bag reduced in moisture permeability. By the method, the composition can be stored over long without undergoing fusion bonding or suffering a decrease in material properties. Even when the powder coating composition which has been thus-stored for, e.g., five weeks or longer is applied, it gives a coating film having the intact film properties including smoothness.
