Abstract:
(EN) A method and system for maintaining uplink synchronization in CDMA based mobile communication system with high accuracy and fast update frequency, said mobile communication system comprising a base station, at least one mobile station, said method comprising the steps of: receiving signals transmitted by one of said mobile stations; measuring timing of the transmitted signals from the mobile station and obtaining USActual value currently used in the mobile station; calculating a USTarget value based on the measurement; comparing USActual and USTarget to generate a SS command for increasing or decreasing said USActual; signaling said synchronization shift (SS) command in downlink to said mobile station to increase or decrease said USActual.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé et un système permettant de maintenir une synchronisation de liaison montante (US) dans un système de communication mobile basé sur un AMRC, présentant une grande exactitude et une grande fréquence de mise à jour. Le système de communication mobile comporte une station de base, au moins une station mobile. Le procédé de la présente invention consiste à recevoir des signaux transmis par une des stations mobiles, à mesurer la synchronisation des signaux transmis de la station mobile et à obtenir une valeur USRéelle actuellement utilisée dans la station mobile, à calculer une valeur USCible sur la base de la mesure, à comparer USRéelle et USCible afin de générer une commande de décalage de synchronisation pour augmenter ou diminuer ladite valeur USRéelle, à signaler cette commande de décalage de synchronisation en liaison descendante à ladite station mobile afin d'augmenter ou de diminuer USRéelle.
