Abstract:
(EN) Methods and apparatus for deploying a stent (20) in a bifurcated body lumen (10). The stent comprises a tubular body defining a lumen therethrough and having a side hole. The tubular body has a first portion (28) with a first wall mass and a second portion (26) with a second wall mass. The first wall mass is less than the second wall mass. When deployed, first portions of two stents overlap in a bifurcated body lumen. The side holes of the two stents are aligned with ostium of branch vessels (14, 16) at a bifurcated body lumen.
(FR) L'invention concerne des procédés et un dispositif permettant de déployer une endoprothèse vasculaire (20) dans une lumière (10) bifurquée d'un corps. L'endoprothèse vasculaire comprend un corps tubulaire définissant une lumière qui s'étend à travers lui et qui présente un orifice latéral. Le corps tubulaire comprend une première portion (28) présentant une première masse de paroi et une seconde portion (26) présentant une seconde masse de paroi . La première masse de paroi est inférieure à la seconde masse de paroi. Lorsqu'elles sont déployées, les premières portions de deux endoprothèses vasculaires se chevauchent dans une lumière bifurquée d'un corps. Les orifices latéraux des deux endoprothèses vasculaires sont alignés à l'aide d'ostium de vaisseaux latéraux (14, 16) sur une lumière bifurquée d'un corps.
