Abstract
(EN) The invention concerns an installation for automatically flanging a test specimen (2) designed to be subjected to mechanical tests, in particular shearing, bending and compression or traction. Said installation comprises: a test specimen-holder (4) consisting of at least two flanging devices (5) each formed by two jaws defining between them a housing for receiving a test specimen combined with which a spring (18) is mounted a system for handling a test specimen; a clamp with controlled movement to take up an active position wherein is applied a prestressing force on the jaws of each flanging device (5); and means for positioning clips (31) locking the jaws of each flanging device when the clamp exerts a prestressing force on the jaws, such that when the clamp takes up as releasing position, the jaws remain in its position clamping the test specimen.
(FR) L'invention concerne une installation pour assurer le bridage automatique d'une éprouvette (2) destinée à être soumise à des essais mécaniques, notamment de cisaillement, de flexion-compression ou de traction. Cette installation comporte: un porte-éprouvette (4) constitué d'au moins deux dispositifs de bridage (5) formés chacun de deux mors délimitant entre-eux, un logement de réception d'une éprouvette en relation duquel est monté un ressort (18), un système de manipulation d'une éprouvette (2), une pince commandée en déplacement pour occuper une position active dans laquelle est appliqué un effort de précontrainte sur les mors de chaque dispositif de bridage (5), et des moyens de positionnement d'agrafes (31) assurant chacune l'immobilisation des mors de chaque dispositif de bridage lorsque la pince exerce un effort de précontrainte sur les mors, de sorte que lorsque la pince occupe sa position de relâchement, les mors restent en position de serrage de l'éprouvette.
