Title
(EN) VIEWING SYSTEM WITH AUTOMATIC SETTING
(FR) SYSTEME DE VISUALISATION A MISE AU POINT AUTOMATIQUE
Abstract
(EN) The invention concerns the field of viewing systems comprising an eyepiece. It concerns a method for setting a viewing system comprising an image plane (1) and an eyepiece (3), the method comprising a step which consists in automatically controlling the relative position of the eyepiece (3) with respect to the image plane (1) on variations, based on the variations of the optical path between the image plane (1) and the eyepiece (3), of a given light signal which has traversed the eyepiece (3) after having been retro-reflected by the user's eye (2). The invention is particularly applicable to binoculars, cameras, telescopes, viewfinders, microscopes.
