Abstract:
(EN) A motion detector for detecting motion of a body in a surveillance zone comprising: at least one laser that produces laser light; at least one photodetector that generates signals responsive to light incident thereon; a light distributor that receives laser light from a laser of the at least one laser and distributes a portion of the light into a plurality of sensor light beams that extend into the surveillance zone and a portion of the light into at least one reference light beam, which does not extend into the surveillance zone, said at least one reference beam being incident on a region of the at least one photodetector, wherein the distributor is positioned and configured so that light reflected from a sensor beam by an object in the surveillance zone is received by the distributor and directed onto said region of the at least one photodetector; and circuitry that receives signals generated by the at least one photodetector and processes the signals to determine if reflected light incident on the at least one detector is Doppler shifted as a result of motion of the body, and if so, generates a signal indicating motion of the body.
(FR) L'invention concerne un détecteur de déplacement permettant de détecter un déplacement à l'intérieur d'une zone surveillée, comprenant au moins un laser qui produit un rayonnement laser; au moins un photodétecteur qui produit des signaux sensibles à la lumière venant en incidence sur celui-ci; un répartiteur de lumière qui reçoit la lumière laser dudit laser, et répartit une partie de la lumière entre une pluralité de faisceaux lumineux provenant du détecteur qui s'étendent à l'intérieur de la zone surveillée, et une autre partie de la lumière dans au moins un faisceau lumineux de référence qui ne s'étend pas à l'intérieur de la zone surveillée, ledit faisceau de référence étant incident sur une région du photodétecteur, et le distributeur positionné et configuré de sorte que la lumière réfléchie par un objet, depuis un faisceau du détecteur, à l'intérieur de la zone surveillée, est reçue par ledit distributeur et dirigée sur la région du photodétecteur; et un circuit qui reçoit les signaux produits par le photodétecteur, traite lesdits signaux de façon à déterminer si la lumière incidente réfléchie sur le détecteur est décalée par effet Doppler comme conséquence du déplacement du corps, et le cas échéant, produit un signal indiquant le déplacement dudit corps.
