Abstract:
(EN) A locking mechanism for a telescopically adjustable extension pole (10) is disclosed. The locking mechanism includes a collar member (16) and a locking trigger mechanism preferably comprising a bottom trigger (52) member and a top trigger (54) member having a locking pin (56) therein. The top trigger (54) member grippingly engages the collar member (16) which is attached to the outer sleeve (12) of the pole (10). By depressing the bottom trigger (52) member, the top trigger (54) member moves laterally outwardly retracting the locking pin (56) from an aperture in the inner sleeve (18) permitting the length of the extension pole (10) to be telescopically adjusted. By releasing the bottom trigger (52) member, the top trigger (54) member moves laterally inwardly causing the locking pin (56) to be received within an aperture in the inner sleeve (18) so as to interlock the inner sleeve (18) within the outer sleeve (12) at the approximate desired length of the extension pole (10).
(FR) L'invention se rapporte à un mécanisme de verrouillage pour tige rallonge (10) à ajustement télescopique. Ce mécanisme de verrouillage comprend un élément collier (16) et un mécanisme de déclenchement du verrouillage comportant de préférence un élément de déclenchement inférieur (52) et un élément de déclenchement supérieur (54) à l'intérieur duquel est disposé une gouille de verrouillage (56). L'élément de déclenchement supérieur (54) s'accouple de manière à être en prise avec l'élément collier (16) qui est fixé au manchon externe (12) de la tige (10). Lorsque l'élément de déclenchement inférieur (52) est comprimé, l'élément de déclenchement supérieur (54) se déplace latéralement vers l'extérieur et retire la goupille de verrouillage (56) d'une ouverture ménagée dans le manchon interne (18), permettant ainsi le réglage de la longueur de la tige rallonge télescopique (10). Lorsque l'élément de déclenchement inférieur (52) est libéré, l'élément de déclenchement supérieur (56) se déplace latéralement vers l'intérieur et entraîne la goupille de verrouillage (56) à l'intérieur de l'ouverture ménagée dans le manchon interne (18) de sorte que le manchon interne (18) et le manchon externe (12) sont verrouillés l'un à l'autre, approximativement au niveau de la longueur souhaitée de la tige rallonge (10).
