(EN)Polynucleotides comprising one or more of 24 novel single nucleotide polymorphisms in the human dopamine receptor D2 (DRD2) gene are described. Compositions and methods for detecting one or more of these polymorphisms are also disclosed. In addition, various genotypes and haplotypes for DRD2 gene that exist in the population are described.
