Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Entfernen von Mercaptanen aus mercaptanhaltigen Fluidströmen, insbesondere aus Kohlenwasserstoffgasen, wie beispielsweise Erdgas, Synthesegas aus Schweröl oder schweren Rückständen oder Raffineriegas, oder auch aus flüssigen Kohlenwasserstoffen, wie beispielsweise LPG (liquefied petroleum gas). Erfindungsgemäss bringt man einen derartigen Fluidstrom in einer Absorptions- oder Extraktionszone mit einer Waschflüssigkeit in innigen Kontakt, die wenigstens ein aliphatisches Alkanolamin mit 2 - 12 C-Atomen enthält. Man führt der Absorptions- oder Extraktionszone soviel Waschflüssigkeit zu, dass zumindest CO
2
und H
2
S im Wesentlichen vollständig aus dem Fluidstrom entfernt werden. Anschliessend trennt man den weitgehend gereinigten Fluidstrom und die beladene Waschflüssigkeit voneinander und führt den Fluidstrom und die Waschflüssigkeit aus der Absorptionszone ab. Bei weitgehend vollständiger Entfernung von CO
2
und H
2
S wird auch der grösste Teil der Mercaptane aus dem Gasstrom entfernt, ohne dass sich ein nennenswerter Anteil der Kohlenwasserstoffgase in der Waschflüssigkeit löst.

The invention relates to a method for removing mercaptans from fluid fluxes containing mercaptans, in particular from hydrocarbon gases, such as natural gas, synthesis gas from heavy oil or heavy residues or refinery gas, or also from liquid hydrocarbons, for example, LPG (liquefied petroleum gas). According to the invention, a fluid flux of this type is brought into contact with a washing solvent in an absorption or extraction zone. Said solvent contains at least one aliphatic alkanolamine which has 2 - 12 C-atoms. Enough washing solvent is supplied to the absorption or extraction zone to more or less completely eliminate at least CO
2
and H
2
S from the fluid flux. The substantially purified fluid flux is subsequently separated from the charged washing solvent and both the fluid flux and the washing solvent are evacuated from the absorption zone. The major part of the mercaptans are removed from the gas flux by the more or less complete removal of CO
2
and H
2
S, without a notable portion of the hydrocarbon gases dissolving in the washing solvent.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de supprimer des mercaptans de courants de flux en contenant, notamment de gaz d'hydrocarbures à l'état gazeux, comme le gaz naturel, le gaz de synthèse issu de l'huile lourde ou de résidus lourds ou de gaz de raffinerie, ou encore d'hydrocarbures à l'état liquide, comme le gaz de pétrole liquéfié (GPL). Selon l'invention, on amène un tel courant de flux en contact intime avec un liquide laveur dans une zone d'absorption ou d'extraction.
