Abstract:
(EN) A stereoscopic observation and magnification system comprising a cameras module, a head mounted display unit, an operator controller unit, an interface and processing unit, a video circuit and serial communication links to provide variably magnified 3D display of reproduced images generated by video cameras embedded into the cameras module onto display screens embedded onto the head mounted display unit. The system provides for automatic balancing of the video cameras and for automatic qualitative optimization of the reproduced images.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système d'observation stéréoscopique et de grossissement d'image comprenant un module caméra, un visiocasque, une commande de l'opérateur, une unité d'interfaçage et de traitement, un circuit vidéo et des liaison de communication de série permettant de générer, sur des écrans intégrés au visiocasque, un affichage tridimensionnel variablement grossi d'images reproduites par des caméras vidéo intégrées dans le module caméra. Ce système assure un équilibrage automatique des caméras vidéo ainsi qu'une optimisation qualitative automatique des images reproduites.
